Is the property self-contained?
Yes, the cottage has it’s own front door and the property is very private and secure.
Are there any ‘extra’ charges?
No. We’re not a fan of hidden extras at Smallbrook Cottage so we won’t stick you with a bill for electricity, towels, parking or anything like that.
Will bed linen be provided?
Yes. Fresh clean bed linen is provide for use during your stay.
Does the cottage have a TV?
Yes it certainly does and all the usual freeview channels are included.
Is there a phone line?
No unfortunately we do not have a landline at the cottage. Mobile signal in the area is mixed, with EE and T-Mobile tending to be the most consistent. We do have a landline within the Globe that can be used in case of emergency.
Is the cottage suitable for people with mobility difficulties or who are disabled?
We strive to accommodate all guests’ needs. If you or anyone in your party has mobility issues then please get in touch and we will endeavour to help you.
Are dogs and other pets welcome?
Yes, there is a supplementary charge of £15 if you would like to bring a pet.
Are we required to pay a damage deposit?
No, we like to trust our guests but we reserve the right to issue an invoice should any damage be caused.
Who do we contact before/upon our arrival?
Your point of contact throughout your stay will be Mandy, who can be contacted on 01497 821 762.
What’s the best time to arrive?
Generally speaking we like our guest to arrive from 3pm. However we are always happy to accommodate your needs. Should you require the property earlier than this time then please let us know upon on booking.
Can we smoke inside the cottage?
No you are not allowed to smoke inside of the cottage. Guests will be asked to leave if this request is ignored.
Do we need to clean the property before we leave?
Yes, please leave the cottage in a similar condition to how you found it.
